  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 cups white chocolate chips or chunks
  • 1 1/4 cups fresh or frozen blueberries (freeze before using)

  • Lemon zest (highly recommended)
  • Extra white chocolate for topping

Instructions

  1. Freeze blueberries for at least 30 minutes to prevent color bleeding.
  2. Cream together butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until fluffy, 2–3 minutes.
  3. Mix in eggs and vanilla until smooth.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Add dry ingredients to wet mixture and stir until combined.
  6. Fold in white chocolate chips.
  7. Gently fold in frozen blueberries without overmixing.
  8. Scoop large dough balls (3 tbsp) onto a lined baking sheet.
  9. Chill dough for 30–45 minutes for thick, bakery-style cookies.
  10. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake 12–15 minutes until edges are set and tops slightly golden.
  11. Cool on baking sheet 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

Frozen blueberries help prevent the dough from turning purple. Add lemon zest for a delicious brightness. For extra bakery flair, press a few white chocolate chips into the tops before baking!
