BLT Dogs are the perfect fusion of a classic BLT sandwich and a juicy grilled hot dog. Crispy bacon, fresh lettuce, and ripe tomato slices top these flavorful franks for a summer cookout twist that’s both nostalgic and bold.

- 4 hot dogs (beef, turkey, or plant-based)
- 4 hot dog buns (toasted if desired)
- 4 slices bacon, cooked until crispy
- 1 cup shredded romaine or iceberg lettuce
- 1 medium tomato, sliced or diced
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- Optional: freshly cracked black pepper
Instructions
- Grill the Hot Dogs: Heat grill or skillet over medium heat. Cook hot dogs until heated through and slightly charred, about 6–8 minutes.
- Prepare the Buns: Lightly toast buns on the grill or in a pan, if desired. Spread the inside of each with mayonnaise.
- Assemble the Dogs: Place grilled hot dog in bun, top with shredded lettuce, bacon, and tomato.
- Finish: Add a pinch of black pepper for extra flavor and serve immediately.
Notes
Use cherry tomatoes for a pop of color and flavor. Want it spicy? Add sriracha mayo or jalapeños. Serve with kettle chips or grilled corn on the side for the ultimate BBQ plate.
