- 1/4 cup red candy melts or red decorating gel
Instructions
- Bake the red velvet cake according to package instructions. Let cool completely.
- Crumble the cake into fine crumbs in a large mixing bowl.
- Add cream cheese frosting and mix until the texture is moldable, like dough.
- Shape the mixture into small balls and insert a lollipop stick into each one.
- Place cake pops on a lined baking sheet and chill in the freezer for 20 minutes.
- Melt the white chocolate or candy melts until smooth.
- Dip each cake pop into the melted chocolate, coating evenly.
- Drizzle with melted red candy melts or decorating gel to create a “bloody” effect.
- Allow chocolate to set before serving.
