These Better Than Starbucks Egg Bites are ultra-creamy, protein-packed, and incredibly easy to make at home. Made with eggs, cottage cheese, and flavorful add-ins, they’re perfect for meal prep, breakfast, or a quick snack.

- 8 large eggs
- 1 cup cottage cheese (full-fat for best texture)
- 1 cup shredded Gruyère or Monterey Jack cheese
- 1/2 cup cooked bacon, chopped (or turkey bacon)
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- Nonstick spray

- Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C). Grease a muffin tin generously.
- Add eggs and cottage cheese to a blender. Blend until completely smooth.
- Pour mixture into a bowl and stir in shredded cheese, bacon, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Divide evenly into muffin cups, filling about 3/4 full.
- Place muffin tin inside a larger baking pan and add hot water halfway up the sides (water bath).
- Bake for 30–35 minutes until set but slightly jiggly in the center.
- Remove from oven, cool 5 minutes, then gently remove egg bites.
Notes
Store egg bites in the fridge for up to 5 days or freeze for up to 2 months. Reheat in the microwave for 30–45 seconds. Swap bacon for spinach, mushrooms, or roasted red peppers.
