- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda

- 2 cups chocolate chips

- Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well, then stir in the vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture until a dough forms.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough onto the prepared baking sheets.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes or until the edges are golden but the centers remain soft.
- Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
For extra flavor, chill the dough for at least 30 minutes before baking. Add sea salt flakes on top for a gourmet touch!
