This Baked Brie with Fig Jam and Pecans is warm, gooey, sweet, and savory—the ultimate effortless holiday appetizer. Creamy brie is topped with rich fig jam and toasted pecans, then baked to melty perfection. Serve it with crackers, crostini, or fresh fruit for an elegant and crowd-pleasing starter.
Ingredients
- 1 wheel (8 oz) brie cheese
- 1/3 cup fig jam
- 1/4 cup chopped pecans, toasted
- 1 tablespoon honey (optional for extra sweetness)
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
- Crackers, sliced baguette, or apple slices for serving
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Line a small baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Place the wheel of brie on the prepared baking sheet.
- Spread the fig jam evenly over the top of the brie.
- Sprinkle the toasted pecans over the jam.
- Drizzle with honey and a pinch of cinnamon if using.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the brie is warm and soft.
- Transfer carefully to a serving dish and serve immediately with crackers or fruit.
Notes
For a cleaner presentation, you can bake the brie in a small brie baker instead of a baking sheet. Toast the pecans for extra flavor, and feel free to substitute fig jam with apricot or raspberry. Serve immediately while warm and melty for the best texture.
