- 1 box (3 oz) cherry Jello
- 1 box (3 oz) orange Jello
- 2 cups boiling water (1 cup per flavor)
- ½ cup pineapple juice
- ½ cup coconut rum (Malibu or similar)
- ½ cup dark rum
- Plastic shot cups
- Optional: maraschino cherries, orange wedges, or mini umbrellas for garnish
Instructions
- Make the Cherry Layer: In a bowl, dissolve cherry Jello in 1 cup boiling water. Stir in ¼ cup pineapple juice and ¼ cup dark rum. Pour into shot cups halfway and refrigerate for 45–60 minutes.
- Make the Orange Layer: Dissolve orange Jello in 1 cup boiling water. Stir in ¼ cup pineapple juice and ¼ cup coconut rum. Let cool slightly.
- Layer It Up: Gently pour orange mixture over the chilled cherry layer. Refrigerate for another 2–3 hours until fully set.
- Garnish & Serve: Add maraschino cherries or small orange slices before serving. Keep chilled and enjoy responsibly!
Notes
Don’t pour the second layer too early — wait until the first layer is set. For a quick version, mix everything together and skip layering. These are perfect to prep a day ahead for parties!
