  • 8 oz egg noodles or pasta of choice
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 6 slices bacon, chopped
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Optional: chopped pickles or green onions for garnish

  1. Cook noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, cook chopped bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove bacon and set aside, leaving some bacon fat in the skillet.
  3. Add ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned. Drain excess fat if necessary.
  4. Add diced onion and garlic to the beef and cook until softened, about 3–4 minutes.
  5. Stir in ketchup, mustard, salt, and pepper.
  6. Add cooked noodles and milk, mixing well to combine.
  7. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the top and stir until melted and creamy.
  8. Stir in cooked bacon pieces, reserving a few for garnish if desired.
  9. Serve hot, optionally topped with pickles or green onions.

Notes

You can use any pasta you like. For extra cheesiness, top with more shredded cheese before serving.
