- 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1 package (10 oz) mini marshmallows
- 1 cup white chocolate chips, melted
- Blueberries or blue candy pieces
- Strawberries or red candy pieces, sliced
Instructions
- Prepare the Base: In a large pot, melt butter over low heat. Add mini marshmallows and stir until completely melted and smooth.
- Add Cereal: Remove from heat and immediately stir in Rice Krispies cereal until well coated.
- Press Into Pan: Press mixture evenly into a greased 9×13-inch pan. Let cool for 10 minutes.
- Decorate: Drizzle melted white chocolate over the top to create the flag’s white stripes.
- Add Red and Blue: Arrange blueberries in the upper-left corner for the blue field. Place sliced strawberries or red candy strips to form the red stripes.
- Set and Serve: Allow to set until the white chocolate hardens, about 30 minutes. Cut into squares and serve.
Notes
Use candy melts or colored chocolate for more vibrant colors. For a fun twist, try different berries or candy pieces to suit your taste. Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
